Festival del Muscolo Spezzino

The Cooperativa Mitilicoltori Spezzini is made up of the main companies that carry out mussel farming and oyster farming in the Gulf of La Spezia. A number of years ago, the members decided to set up a consortium which offers to locals and tourists, at cheaper prices, their typical products – the Mussels of La Spezia and the Spezzine Oysters, cooked in different ways. These can be enjoyed along the city’s seafront, the Morin Waterfront, every evening during the Festival from July 1 to August 31, and where bookings are not accepted.
