Mahmoud Mohammed Al Haj Sons General Trading Company is a fish farming project and a fish restaurant. This project is owned by Yasser Al-Hajj from Al-Nuseirat from the Gaza Strip. The project consists of 14 ponds for breeding bream fish, the tank capacity is 200 cups of water, and these ponds are divided according to the age of the fish to maintain the continuity of providing fish all the time, the farming activity was established in 2015, and the restaurant in 2016. The idea of the project started because of the high prices of fish in the Gaza Strip, due to Israeli restrictions to reduce the fishing area and the closure of the crossings. The project began with the breeding of sea bream, which is rich in phosphorous, protein and fat content, and then began to breed sea bass and tilapia, the fish are marketed in the Gaza market and the West Bank, the restaurant uses fish from the ponds to prepare fish meals for customers, cooked or uncooked. Owner of the project would like to market the product fish on the FISH MED NET platform.
